2. How long would it take for me to get my visa?
The time frame differs among countries, but what is important to you as a student is to give yourself enough time by applying early. Avoid the risk of last-minute applications by applying for the course and paying the fee deposit as early as possible. This will also ensure that you give yourself enough time to prepare the documents and meet other requirements for the visa application.

Different Universities have different requirements on this. Some, for that matter, do not require any IELTS or SELT. Contact our offices for the most up-to-date information on the University you are interested in.

6. What is the benefit of studying in Canada?
There are many benefits of studying in Canada. The biggest benefit is that students can work after their studies. Canada has a long tradition of quality and internationally recognized education. UK degrees are shorter when compared to other countries. The UK offers world-class education and a rich multi-cultural environment. You have the opportunity of networking with industry leaders, especially for a post-graduate program.
9.How do I apply?
Depending on the level (High school, Undergraduate, Postgraduate) for Master’s Level, as an example, you will be required to provide academic credentials (WAEC certificate, Degree Certificate/ Statement of result, Academic transcripts), valid passport, and referees.
10. Do I physically need to come to your office before the application proceeds?
Yes, contact details are on the home page. Processing can then start. Subsequent meetings can be done virtually. All our staff are well trained and understand that not all our clients can come to the office all the time.
11. What are the application deadlines for Canadian schools?
These vary significantly for each school and can begin as early as December through April. There is usually a deadline to submit the application and a later deadline to submit additional requirements (i.e., uploading transcripts).
12. What is the difference between a college and a university?
College and University are used interchangeably in the US. The more commonly used phrase is college. Both words refer to a school that offers a four-year undergraduate degree. A university is a large institution with many colleges within it. It offers a Bachelor’s degree and other degree programs such as Graduate and Ph.D. This differentiates it from a college with limited or no Graduate or Ph.D. programs. Colleges in Canada offer diploma and certificate programs. Often it is two years and is more practical oriented. Only universities in offer degree programs in Canada.
13. When should I start my university applications to the US or Canada?
Depending on when you are interested in beginning your semester, it is advisable to calculate a year before working with us. This is not limited since some schools are more flexible than others. For example, if you are interested in the Fall intake (September), we recommend starting the process in the Fall (September) of the previous year.
14. What secondary school curriculum do I need to study abroad in the US or Canada?
The US and Canada recognize and accept the International Baccalaureate Diploma, Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), British and American curriculum.
15. How often do we need to meet?
Fortunately for everyone, we have Zoom and WhatsApp to make our lives easier! We check in often and make sure our meetings are productive, so we don’t waste anyone’s time. We like to meet students at least three times in person: initial assessment with parents, beginning applications, finalizing their decision, and visa/study permit applications.
16. How much does our service cost?
Our price varies depending on the service we are rendering.
17. What are the refund policies in case I choose to withdraw?
Refund policies vary from University to University. All parents and students are requested to peruse the letter of admission and the university prospectus carefully to familiarise themselves with the refund policy of the institutions.
18. Is there an application fee?
Some universities and institutions charge an application fee which is payable as per the guidelines of the University concerned.
19. Do I have to pay university tuition fees to Aurevoir Voyages?
Aurevoir Voyages does not collect tuition fees on behalf of any university or institution. All tuition fees have to be paid directly to the University concerned and as outlined in the admission letter.

21. How do I choose a School, College, or University?
Many students look for the University in which they want to study. However, we feel the best is to decide on a few programs and then look for the best school for the program. This was the chances of success and satisfaction is much higher.
22. How to apply to a School, College, or University?
Each institution has its application method. Some are online, others are paper forms, and some give the option of both. Also, there are special requirements at different levels of education; for example, for some universities, a personal statement is required, and for some high schools, an assessment test is required upon arrival in Canada.
