What is Au Pair visa?

An au pair visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows someone to work as an au pair in a foreign country. The visa is intended to facilitate cultural exchange between the au pair and their host family.

How does it work?

Au pairs work with an approved agency like Aurevoir Voyages to apply for the visa.

  • The agency conducts an interview and checks references.
  • The au pair is placed with a host family.
  • The au pair cares for the host family’s children.
  • The au pair may be able to extend their stay for an additional 6, 9, or 12 months.

What are the requirements ?

  • The au pair must be from a country that has a diplomatic relationship with the host country.
  • The au pair must meet the host country’s requirements for the visa.
  • The au pair must provide the required documents, such as a passport, birth certificate, and school leaving certificates.
